For those new to the area, let me first welcome you to Huntsville/Madison County. North Alabama is geographically diverse with rich river basins, lakes, mountains, and one of the largest networks of limestone caves in the world. It is also a colorful amalgamation of cultures and nationalities. Whether you like country music or classical, clogging or ballet, repertory theater or Broadway, it is here for you. Ours is a high-tech community and with that comes a high level of education. Your children will be well educated in our public or private schools. One of our local high schools, Grissom, was recently selected by Redbook magazine as the best high school in the state. Three colleges and several business or technical schools help round out our educational offerings. Graduate degrees in engineering and computer science are available at one of the South's finest universities, the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The Huntsville/Madison area is alive with history and culture. The quality of life is high because of the relatively low cost of living as compared to the rest of the country. My family has lived all over the United States, from the east coast to the west coast and points in between, but we are pleased to call Huntsville our adopted home. What I have found in Huntsville is the best of all worlds - true southern style with a strong sense of family, warm hospitality, and beautiful natural surroundings, nicely mixed with a bustling high-tech industry and booming local economy. I have been involved in the Real Estate industry in various forms since I was 18 years old [insert age joke here] and earned my Real Estate License in Baltimore, Maryland. Since then, I have worked for and managed several Title companies, and have held my Real Estate license in several states.
